What person do you have the most
respect for? Why?
When we consider what it is that
leads us to feel respect for someone, we realize what we need to strive
for to be
respected. Everyone desires respect. Respect is the foundation of
manners. Respect is interwoven with our rights and responsibilities.
For every right that we have, there is a corresponding responsibility.
We have a responsibility to choose our actions with consideration for
consequences and respect for others as well as ourselves. Carefully
consider the Rights,

& Respect-Everyone has:
wthe right to be treated with respect the responsibility to treat others with respect
wthe right to be yourself and accept
yourself the responsibility to continue to grow
wthe right to have and express your own
feelings and opinions the responsibility to respect the feelings and opinions of others
wthe right to be listened to and taken
seriously the responsibility to listen to and take others seriously
wthe right to say no without feeling
guilty the responsibility to allow others the right to say no
wthe right to ask for what you want the responsibility to realize you will not always get what you want
wthe right to make mistakes the responsibility to accept the consequences of mistakes
